From University to Impact
Fresh out of university, Rodrigo Balan joined TensorOps with a clear vision: to work "outside the box" in an environment where he could avoid routine and make a genuine impact in the industry. Six months in, he's building production-ready AI systems for huge enterprise players, solving real technical challenges, and contributing to projects that are reaching millions of users worldwide.
How did you know that TensorOps was the right company for you?
I've always wanted to work 'outside the box', in an environment where I can avoid routine and make a genuine impact. That is exactly what I found at TensorOps. I'm not just executing assigned tasks, I'm owning projects tasks and results, and bringing my own ideas to the table. Being able to dive into so many different aspects of a project has made my learning curve incredibly steep. It's exactly the challenge I was searching for.
What is the thing you like the most about working here?
What I value most about TensorOps is the sense of true ownership. Here, I'm not just working behind the scenes. I own my projects from start to finish. I help manage the client relationships, lead the sync meetings, and present my own results. There is an incredible sense of responsibility in being able to say, 'I built this.' It has allowed me to evolve technically, professionally and personally in ways I never could in other types of environment.
What advice would you give to people applying for a job here?
I'll never forget the advice I received when I started: success at TensorOps depends entirely on your willingness to work hard and your desire to learn. We have all the tools we need and an incredible team to learn from. My advice to anyone applying is to take ownership of your growth. Put in the effort, stay curious, and take advantage of being around the best people in the industry. There is no limit to how much you can evolve here.
